Quiz Raised £627!

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Quiz at Kinnoull Bowling Club at the end of March. It was a great success once again and together we managed to raise £627 for Number 3! We would like to thank everyone who donated prizes and took part in the raffle and would like to say a special thanks to all at Kinnoull Bowling Club for all their help on the night!

One Stop Shop Survey

We are currently evaluating our One Stop Shops and would like your help with this. We would be grateful if you could complete this short questionnaire by the 30th December 2018 by clicking this link… https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/SPPB2JR   Your responses will help to ensure the service continues to be responsive to your needs and data will also be used to help in the pursuit of continuation funding.

Many Thanks,

Catherine Steedman, National Director

Thank You Myra!

Local lady Myra Murdoch recently raised £68.60 for Number 3 by holding a stall at Alyth Car boot Sale. Everyone at the One Stop Shop would like to thank Myra for choosing us as her charity, we really appreciate her kind donation!

Change to Opening Hours

As of the 19th of September we will be closing each Wednesday, this is to make more time available for appointments and admin work. This means that we will no longer have a drop in or any social groups running on Wednesdays. Our last Wednesday drop in will be the 12th of September.

We have made this decision along with our manager Matt to try and make sure that everyone who uses the service has fair access to the type of support that they require. Many people do not access our social opportunities but do require appointments to get support with benefit applications, housing issues and other 1:1 matters. We now have 382 adults accessing Number 3 with a staff team of 3. This means we need to make sure that we allocate enough time for appointments and related paperwork.

We will trial this change in hours until the end of December when it will be reviewed. Please speak to Claire, Jill, Julie or Matt if you would like to discuss this further.

Closed Saturday 3rd March

Unfortunately due to the continuing bad weather, unsafe travel conditions and the cancellation of public transport we have made the decision to cancel our Saturday drop in and cinema trip this weekend. We have rescheduled our cinema trip for Monday 5th, the showing will start at 11.30am.

Archery Session

Please note that our planned Archery session on Thursday 13th July has been postponed to a later date. We will be open from 2pm to 8pm on Thursday as usual.

Good Luck Chris

Last month Chris took up a new full time post within the Outreach Team for Autism Initiatives. This means that Chris will no longer be working at Number 3  but will be still be popping in from time to time to say hello. We will all miss working alongside Chris but wish him all the best in his new role!
